Train Timetable Optimisation
Calculating optimal departure times for trains on a resource constrained infrastructure is a highly complex task that is as yet very difficult to automate. The Train Optimisation software uses so-called symbiotic networks to calculate the optimal departure times of trains with respect to the mutual conflicts that trains encounter while travelling along their trajectory.
